ABOUT THE PROJECT
Always Get On the Boat is a site-specific multidisciplinary performance project taking place aboard President FDR’s retired yacht, the 165 ft. USS Potomac located in the San Francisco Bay. Artist Constance Hockaday will transform the Potomac into a “floating White House” – an art and social space where live performance and community engagement will facilitate Bay Area residents’ relationship to public space, dissent, and human rights.
