Today, PasteMagazine.com premiered the new video for Holcombe Waller’s “Hardliners.” The song is taken from Holcombe’s new album, Into the Dark Unknown, released last month on Napoleon Records. The song is available for free download on Amazon.com; Download it HERE. Holcombe will also be giving away an artful object from the video’s set each day on Twitter, for 10 days. Directed by Daniel Fickle (Portland Cello Project’s “Denmark”) and shot by Brian McKee (Blitzen Trapper’s “Black River Killer”), "Hardliners” follows singer-songwriter Holcombe Waller along a dream-like path from his bedroom to the stage and back. Three friends (featuring the performance and choreography of Miguel Gutierrez) support and shape his journey. Co-conceived by Waller, Gutierrez, Fickle and Artistic Director Bowen Ames, the video is a poetic allegory about the relationship between performer, the audience, and all of the friends and family in between.
