IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT CHANGES AT THE MAP FUND

Beginning with the next grant cycle, the MAP Fund grant review cycle will include the submission of a mandatory online Letter of Inquiry that precedes the full application. Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) will be reviewed by outside evaluators and MAP staff. Based on that assessment, projects deemed to most closely align with the MAP goals will be invited to make a full application.

It's important to note that the LOI deadline is several months earlier than our usual January deadline. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS ACCORDINGLY.

September 1, 2009:
Online Letter of Inquiry Application Open

October 19, 2009:
Online LOI Deadline

December 4, 2009:
Notification of Invitation for Full Proposal

January 11, 2010:
Deadline for Full Proposals (by invite)

Mid-April, 2010:
Final Notification of Panel Results

The decision to include an LOI phase came after careful consideration. We will be setting up information sessions in advance of the LOI deadline. Those dates will be announced soon.
